Lazio have confirmed the permanent signing of Arsenal left-back Nuno Tavares after spending last season on loan.

The 25-year-old joined Lazio on loan last summer and has made 30 appearances in all competitions and provided nine assists,

performances that were enough to convince the Gunners to sign him. The “Albiceleste” have decided to sign Tavares on a permanent basis, with a contract until 2029.

The report states that the Portuguese’s transfer is worth around €5 million (£4.2 million). With the London club also agreeing to a share of any future player sales.

A loan spell with Nottingham Forest came the following season. Where Nuno made a combined 12 appearances in the Premier League and FA Cup.
